Dynasty Warriors: Origins is set during the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China. Players control a nameless warrior who suffers from amnesia and travels with a boy named Yuanhua. The game features key events from Chinese history, such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Chibi.
As you play, you will make important choices that impact your story. The game focuses on tactical combat and storytelling, letting you shape the journey towards the Battle of Chibi, one of the most important events of the era.
Pre-order Options and Digital Editions
There are two ways to pre-order Dynasty Warriors: Origins: the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition. The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with extra content, including a digital artbook, the soundtrack, 72-hour early access, and useful in-game items.
Those who pre-order digitally will also receive a special “Nameless Warrior Garb” costume, inspired by Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. If you pre-order before January 30, 2025, you will get a soundtrack collection with music from past Dynasty Warriors games.
